There is a bridge in Japan that has got everyone’s attention. It is called the Eshima Ohashi Bridge but recently a video is being surfaced online which has some distorted graphics of the bridge and calling it almost vertical. Does it actually defy gravity?
This bridge connects Matsue, Shimane Prefecture and Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture over Nakaumi lake. It is the largest rigid frame bridge in Japan and the third largest in the world.
The bridge in the video is almost 90° angle, none of any normal vehicle could even climb up to the bend. Several people in the social media shared this video claiming that it is almost a vertical bridge –
This is how the bridge looks like in real –
Some people have even mentioned this bridge as a roller-coaster ride but we do not agree with this fact. The bridge has a gradient of 6.1 percent on one side and 5.1 on the other. It is certainly not a dangerous pathway, every commuter can easily cross the bridge.
